Description
A boldly peated blended malt bottled at 46% ABV, natural colour and non-chill-filtered. It combines smoky Islay-style malts (notably from the village of Port Askaig) with a hint of Highland malt, matured in a mix of first-fill and refill American oak casks. The aroma opens with bonfire smoke and sea spray, leading into orchard fruit and vanilla creaminess. On the palate expect oily texture, peppery peat, salted caramel and citrus peel, finishing long with ashy driftwood and soft coastal brine.
