Los Siete Misterios Espadin Tobala Limited Release 70cl Bottle

A marvellous mezcal from Los Siete Misterios, produced with the 2021 harvest of tobala agave. Growing wild, often in remote places, tobala can be complicated to harvest, but the work certainly pays off with layers of aromatic smoked spices and tropical fruit joining the herbaceous core of this traditionally produced spirit.It resembles the bud of a rose and unlike other Magueys with “hijuelos,” seedlings sprouting from the mother plant, it only reproduces by seed. Since it is difficult to propagate, it is mostly found growing in remote locations. We are one of the few to harvest and cook the Tobalá Maguey. Those lucky enough to experience it fall in love with its magnificent taste.
