The New World Shiraz glass is perfect for balancing the gripping tannins and concentrated fruit typical of medium-bodied red wines.
This shape was developed between 1993-1995 following sensory workshops in major Syrah and Shiraz growing regions. It is the most versatile RIEDEL shape for red wines. With a slightly tapered opening, the large bowl develops intense aromas and moutfilling fruit. It offers a dignified structure and long finish on the palate.
