A beautifully intense, deep and dark red colour. The nose is intense and has a subtle blend of red berries, marked by a beautiful wooded which reveals more dense aromas of roasting and slightly spicy notes. The palate is well structured with good tannins and velvety expression mixed with a variety of flavours with notes of ripe fruit aromas and toasted.
Chateau d'Armailhac is best served with all types of classic meat dishes, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, roasted, braised, and grilled dishes.
